“A little gem of the south coast of the IOW”
Reviewed 21 April 2013 via mobile

A short stroll (all be it a little hilly) from the town centre. Our room ( number 5) was massive with a comfy sofa, large flat TV and free WiFi. The staff could not have been any more helpful and friendly. The breakfast was of a high standard of both ingredients and execution. We live on the IOW and definitely recommend this hotel as somewhere to stay on our beautiful Island.

We booked this on a whim when deciding to extend our holiday by a day and were pleasantly surprised.

We got a 'family room' which actually consisted of a double room and a separate twin room, both a good size along with a good size family bathroom. The cost was a mere £109 including full English breakfast!!!

There one or two little bits which could have been better relating to the decoration of the room such as not having a proper shower but at that price it's not worth going in to detail.

If you want a room tucked away at the back of the hotel with a private path leading up to the cliff tops and giving fantastic views then book room 23!

Defiantly one to remember for the future

Room Tip: Room 23 is a family suite at the back of the hotel.

Booked a 2 bedroom family suite for £109 including breakfast for the four of us so very good value for money. Spacious accommodation with a double room, twin room and large bathroom and doors led out to a small cliff path which had spectacular sea views, felt like our own private garden ! Located a 5 minute walk downhill to the Esplanade where there is a lovely beach and choice of pubs and restaurants - would recommend The Spyglass Inn. Staff were friendly and helpful and a good breakfast menu and service. Overall a very good stay and highly recommended.

Room Tip: Request room 23 if booking a Family Suite

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and great room service. Superb and substantial breakfast. About five minutes' walk into town and a short but steep walk down the hill to the esplanade. No real ale in bar. Great value for money.

Room Tip: Hot water in rooms may not be available around 10.00a.m. if the Jacuzzi .is being filled.

We took an early spring break at the Eversley and it was very good value. It included B&B for three nights, dinner on two and the return ferry crossing.

The hotel is close to the town and has ample parking. The entrance looks a bit uninviting, but our room (number 5) was large and faced the road. It had obviously been recently redecorated and bathroom was large and brand new, oddly although there was a free standing bath with a shower attachment there was no shower cubicle.

Our room was warm but other guests to the rear of the hotel complained of being cold.

Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was OK.

There is a pool but it was closed when we visited.

Great hotel, helpful staff, very nice rooms, excellent food, breakfast and dinner were what you would expect in 4 or 5 star dining room in a 4 or 5 star hotel. Good position for local sights and amenities and a good starting point for traveling around the island. We will stay here again when we next visit the Isle-of Wight. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Go for the premium rooms, they are larger, lots of stairs to keep you fit !!
