“Fantastic place”
Reviewed 14 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We had a really nice stay here. House was really clean, full of toys and everything from location details to house guides were extremely well done. The welcome hamper was lovely and the owners even adjusted the contents for our 3 year old daughter and got her ice cream rather then normal cream for her strawberries- small things like this made our whole stay here special!

We're so pleased you and your family had a perfect holiday. We try to think of those 'little things' which make guests feel special. The badgers and red squirrels are lovely to see so close in the garden.

“Fabulous!”
Reviewed 29 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

As returnees we knew what to expect so knew we would never be disappointed - and of course we were not! From the minute we arrived it felt like returning home - but with a few additions, including our lovely treat in the fridge, the fabulous new décor in the dining and living room, Sanctuary toiletries (my favourite) and new beds, mattresses etc. The weather was perfect sitting on the patio drinking Prosecco weather - so we did that a few times! We had lots of walks down to various beaches and of course no trip is complete without a stroll to the Buddle for more of their steak and ale pie. We also had the usual badger watch and had plenty of red squirrels running around. All in all the perfect weekend break to relax and enjoy the company of friends in a fabulous house that we all love. Thanks to John and Louise for all the little touches that make it just that bit more special.

“Excellent family-friendly cottage”
Reviewed 8 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

A fantastic cottage in a beautiful location. It was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a family holiday. We were very impressed with the huge selection of indoor and outdoor toys and games, and the Easter eggs left for the children. The garden is lovely; the children would have been happy to play out there all day! Watching the badgers in the evenings was a real highlight. We had a great week and will be back again!
