I have been coming to island for work over the weekend for few months and found this place very comfortable, clean and excellant value for money. Both Stuart n Linda are very kind and pleasant to everyone. I must also thank them for preparing my favorite breakfast everytime I stay at cornerways.

Spent a lovely weekend at Cornerways. The rooms were comfortable - mine had two windows with views to the downs and (if I leaned out of the window!) to the sea. Stuart and Linda are friendly and knowledgeable and always ready to help with suggestions for eating places, etc. One of their suggestions pleased us so much we went back the next night. The guest lounge is a lovely place to sit when planning the day's activities, or to relax in after a day out. And it was supremely quiet - no traffic noise to disturb here! Delightful - I will be back!

We were delighted with our stay here. The owners, Stuart and Linda, are friendly, very obliging and chatty without being overbearing. The beds are supremely comfortable and the rooms quiet. If you don't get a sea view you'll probably have one of the downs, which is almost as good, especially when the autumn colours are at their most vibrant. Some of the decor which they inherited is of questionable taste but the rooms that they've redecorated are very handsome. I would give five stars if the room heater had a timer and if the shower was more powerful.

We really enjoyed our three nights spent at Cornerways, we decided to spend a little extra on the superior room with sea view and it was lovely, clean and spacious. The B&B is on a quiet little street about 10-15 minutes walk from the town centre - it was very quiet at night and we slept well. The owners were lovely and pointed us in the direction of some good walks and places to eat - I definitely recommend you take their advice about the Italian over at Bonchurch as it's absolutely fantastic!

Breakfast was delicious, there is the option of a full English or a good choice of cereal, toast etc. and the little glasses of fresh fruit were particularly appreciated. If there's one thing I'd improve, I'd suggest bigger beds, especially in the superior rooms as we found it a little bit cramped.

Room Tip: Superior room with sea view is lovely - although the view in the other direction is towards hills so...

I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Cornerways again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable, clean, friendly place to stay. Stuart and Linda make excellent hosts and gave me a genuinely warm welcome. My room was large and bright with excellent views up the hill and out across the sea. This area of Ventnor is away from the centre of town, but an easy stroll to some great places to eat in Ventnor itself, or the neighbouring village of Bonchurch. (Stuart and Linda are knowledgeable in this respect and are happy to give recommendations and directions.) Breakfast was of a high standard and I heard the hosts being very accommodating with other guests' needs.

My wife and I had our first annual three week holiday in England for many years and made a late decision to spend three days of it on the I.O.W. After looking through TripAdvisor reviews we decided on the Cornerways in Ventnor and could not have been more delighted with our choice. Our room was clean, bright and comfortable -- had all the usual niceties eg TV, kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits etc plus Wifi. There was a wide selection at breakfast and these were so satisfying that we didn't even need a snack at lunchtime! We enjoyed our outings to the Needles (chairlift and boat trip) and Osborne House but what will remain with us is our memories of Stuart and Linda. They could not have been more helpful, informative and friendly and that's what makes a good holiday. Many thanks for making our short stay so special. The Grants.
