“Great little steam railway”

Nice heritage railway with a pleasant trip from Douglas to Port Erin. Staff very pleasant and it was nice to be able to photograph the locomotive being attached to the train before the trip.

“A journey back in time”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

A great ride at a slow pace with the smell of the steam engine drifting into the carriage, nectar to a steam enthusiast. Views from the window were excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

a really relaxing trip ,to Castletown and Port Erin, through very attractive countryside. We had purchased a 5-day pass at the airport, covering most attractions and bus and railway services. For our £55 we got £77 of facilities.

“Very enjoyable”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

The railway is run by friendly and knowledgable staff. We enjoyed the trip from Douglas to Port Erin. If you visit the island just do it, go on the sram train for a relaxing and very pleasant hour long trip.
Lovely!!
