Food great. Service good. Strange room layouts but OK. Big problem was the price of the wine. £28 for a bottle of average NZ Savignon Blanc TWENTY EIGHT POUNDS!!. Change this (exact same wine is £20 at Laughing Buddha) and we might come back. Mongolian lamb is recomended

Warm welcome in clean surroundings. There were five of us eating so we decided on the Banquet.

We wanted a few modifications and this was not a problem to the staff.

The selection of starters was outstanding with salt and pepper ribs and seaweed my favourites.

Then on to the peking duck- just superb.

5 extremely tasty mains followed and wow there was taste! Not bland like some Chinese.

Would definitely go back and recommend.

We called in around 7:00 pm on a Friday evening, without a reservation. We were surprised to see that the restaurant was already full. With only one table left and a booking already assigned for 7:30. The manager was verŷ helpful and assessed that that he could accommodate us and fulfil his obligation to his 7:30 reservation. We were lucky, but all worked out OK.
We chose a "sapphire" banquet meal for 2 priced at £25 a head. Course after course kept arriving, it was too much, so I can safely state that portions were generous. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the manager who attended to us initially looked after us very well. The meal was good, but I would say not the best Chinese food that we have eaten, but what we did not eat was only because we had eaten our fill.
This is a well frequented popular restaurant on the northern edge of the Douglas promenade with good parking facilities and a willingness to I serve their guests.
Reservations are recommended.

Had a fantastic meal here this weekend.
From outside, the place looks like a small chinese takeaway but inside is immaculate and large with nice lighting and several tables.
The food was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and service really couldn't be faulted.
Thoroughly enjoyed it.
