Wow, so glad this restaurant exists on the island. If I could eat there every night I would. Staff are very professional, and charming. The menu is all too gorgeous. Love this wonderful restaurant. Very romantic setting too.

Have been here a couple of times recently for celebrations. Menu is not huge , they just do a small selection but very very well. I personally like the decoration and atmosphere and the waitresses are top notch. Overall I would say this is in the top five on the island and if you want a night out to remember go here.

Honestly, we thought both the food and service were standout. The restaurant manager and his team were lovely- good fun and really felt they were working as a team. The food was gorgeous with loads of options on seasonal fish dishes as well as a good range on the a la carte menu.

This was a hard one to rate, as in fairness the food probably subjectively qualifies for 4 stars. However the overall score is reduced significantly by decor and service.

The ambience of the restaurant itself is really quite dated, it's wooden panelling and dim lighting reminiscent of a member's club from the turn of last century,

The reception was frankly rather off hand. It's possible that this was to give a formal, exclusive feel to the venue, but really all it achieved was to make you wonder if they were hoping guests would cancel so they could call it an early night. This detachment continued in the general level of service through the night.

To end on a high note though, it must be said that the food itself is good. The menu could perhaps be accused of being heavily biased towards the traditional, but what it does it does well. The price is probably about 20% higher than you'd pay on the mainland, but that complaint is pretty much consistent for all restaurants on the island.

There was a limited menu but still enough choice. The normal a la carte is much larger. Good service and a nice wine list. Very pleasant dining room. Pleasant amuse bouche followed by queenies for me and pate for my friend. Very good portions wellpresented and the scallops were just right. My hake again was well presented and excellently cooked. My friends turbot in red wine was a strange looking dish. It just about worked. Nice selection of cheese to finish
