“Very eclectic collection with something for most people”
Reviewed 2 August 2012

A free museum which is well worth visiting and which also has a good, if busy, restaurant. The building covers a large area and includes an art gallery and national library. The collections cover the whole history of the Island and has sections which are ideal for children as well as adults.

“Very Interesting Museum”
Reviewed 23 July 2012

This is a great museum, its free admission and ample parking close by. Good access throughout the building. A very nice little shop and great cafe inside. A short film on the Isle of Man is well worth watching at the start of your visit. The general feel of the museum is not dull at all as is the case in some museums. There's a good mixture of modern type exhibits along with traditional with various special displays on from time to time. Close to the centre of Douglas. A must visit when on the Isle of Man.
