This museum contains an excellent record of the history of the Isle of Man. It is extremely well set out with separate rooms and sub sections. It requires some time to fully explore. Its use of modern technology is very good. Be aware of the fact that it is difficult to get to for people with disability. We found the displays illustrating the way in which the Isle of Man was to detain internees during both world wars extremely interesting.

Visited this on a rainy day - glad we did. Gives a good overview of the island and its history with lots of interesting exhibits. Plan at least a couple of hours!

An excellent museum. Very well resourced with lots of things to see - you could easily spend half a day there. Currently a large area covering World War 1 and its impact on the Island. Recommended. Free entry too!
