Our first impression of this restaurant was fantastic, as we arrived just after 9pm. The owner explained that the kitchen was closing but she would arrange to get us 2 orders of the special, which was beef and Yorkshire pudding. She made us feel very welcome, and we certainly didn't feel rushed as it was obvious that the other parties were lingering over drinks and enjoying the entertainment. The meal itself was delicious, with giant serving, and 2 types of potato, to my husband's delight. In fact, when we were making plans for dinner the next evening, he said that he'd rather go back to this restaurant for another meal, rather than try somewhere new. Now that's high praise!
