This place used to try an be very pretentious when it was Millenium Saagar. Serving a blob of sauce in the middle of a plate at 10 quid a time soon took its toll.

Its now much improved. Presume it has different owners?

Visited on a quiet mid-week night and place was very quiet. Service was excellent (as you would expect).

Menu is quite varied. Prices are in line with similar outlets found locally although much higher than found in Manchester or Liverpool etc.

Due to quietness of restauarnt, atmosphere was poor.

Food quality and quantity was very good.

Would return but not in a hurry

“Liked it a lot”

Went there last night. Good service. Just off the main seafront road. Food was tasty. We got the funnily named 'chef's confusion for two'. £40 which isn't exactly giving it away, but most restaurants in the Isle of Man are not particularly cheap.

Would visit again and would recommend.

“Fine Indian Cuisine”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

Broadway Masala is a great place to eat. Siarj and the Team have years of experience in the restaurant trade previosuly running the Indian restaurant in Laxey as well as various other curry houses. It is a fine indian restaurant. Located just off the busy Douglas Promenade.

I recommend for starter the spiced stir fried queenie dish and for the main the Chefs Special of Tandoori Honey Duck. Every dish that is plated is cooked right from scratch, offering our Curries Mild, Medium, Hot, Extra Hot to be cooked to your liking with the freshest herbs, spices and vegetables with lots of flavour so you definitely enjoy the taste.

Food was tasty and well presented. Prices reasonable and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend as a decent curry house on IOM

“Dinner for One”
Reviewed 1 March 2014

No not the comedy film with Freddie Frinton!

Was travelling as a lone female and looked at the Broadway and it looked friendly - it was! Has the Thali and could not eat it all... food was fantastic quality and well worth the price I paid £10.95 for three dishes and rice!

It is licensed too so had a nice glass of Pinot Grigio!!

I think even hubby would love it - and he is VERY hard to please :)
