My wife and I stayed at Turtle View in May of 2011 for our honeymoon. We chose Turtle view based on the photos, and we were not disappointed. The house is in a great location, we felt like we were the only two people for miles, despite having neighbors on either side. The pool and patio offered a great view and a great spot to relax and soak up some sun.
The drive into town, or anywhere on the island for that matter, was short, and it was easy enough to find your way around. Our rental included use of a cell phone that had lots of local numbers already programmed into it, which was great for making sure places were open. Most restaurants on the island closed by 8 or so, so make sure you don't leave dinner too late in the day. If you want to stay in to cook instead there's plenty of roadside stands with fresh food, or a supermarket if you want something more familiar. Turtle Views kitchen was clean and fully equipped, with a great outdoor dinning area and bbq as well.
The house offers plenty of space to families with children as well, the second bedroom is downstairs, and overall the place is easily large enough to accommodate a family with 2 children and still ensure everyone has plenty of space.
This was the first time my wife and I have stepped away from the All-Inclusive's to do a vacation at our own pace, and I could never go back to staying at resorts after an experience as great as this. A fantastic stay at a beautiful location.
