I stayed here with a group of friends as part of a cycling trip round the IOW. I know it was cheap but....
It's safe to say I wouldn't recommend or go back but reading the other reviews and based on the bus loads of 70-100yr olds it's obvious some people like. The bingo last night was also popular with the oldies...
Showers are terrible and water is either so hot or so cold you can't stand under the trickle that pours.
Beds are all twin beds with scratchy blankets and squeak when you move.
You can borrow a hair dryer from reception. I'd be amazed if anybody ever stole one and they couldn't just keep in the rooms to save you going to get one (you can't phone down as there are no phones in the rooms).
Some of the rooms have amazing sea views but with patio doors that don't lock or the lock could easily be broken off. The balconies all join the others so you can see in your neighbours' rooms if you stand on it.
Breakfast is only served between 830 and 915 for everyone so with 120 guests last night it was busy. The same goes for dinner only being served between 1830 and 1915.
All seemed odd and just not good.
