The Trouville Hotel has an enviable position on the promenade in Sandown, but that is just the start. On our arrival, the manager came onto our coach to welcome us and offer complimentary tea or coffee in the ballroom while our luggage and registration were dealt with. The food was imaginative and good quality, the service quick, efficient and friendly. Very professional and organised. Every where was clean and comfortable. Evening entertainment was an unexpected pleasure. When we left the manager again came onto our coach to thank us for our visit and to wish us bon voyage.

Room Tip: If single, ask for side view of the sea.

This is one of the best Hotels I have been to in a long time, we had a 6 day break with our local coach company, who was also a great. well done Jay and Kay as usual...

I could not pick a fault at all, apart from the weather...

The food, the head chef I understand is a lady, my Husband is a retired chef, and was well impressed,
Our room was really nice and with a veiw to the sea, and well looked after by our lovely chambermaid,

The bar staff, the waiting staff, the reception staff, the entertainment, . I hope I haven't left any one out, I hope to come back one day, thank you all for a wonderful break

Room Tip: What can I say about this fantastic hotel, Food fantastic, Service , waiting staff, chamber maids, reception staff, bar staff, entertainment, hope I haven't left any one out, we were over the moon, a room with a view, comfy beds, we would love to come again,

Thank you very much for your lovely review following your stay with Jay & Kay. It's great to read that you enjoyed your stay and even better that an ex-chef complimented the food! It is always nice to see such positive comments about the staff - thank you very much. Jay & Kay visit us several times throughout the year so you will have to book with them again for a return visit to the Trouville!

Can't fault the hotel, food was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bedrooms very clean. Bathrooms clean but a bit dated. Would certainly stay there again. Location was brilliant. Bowling good well looked after by the staff. Hoping to return next year.

Room Tip: Has to be a sea view room every time

We stayed 7 night at the Trouville Hotel D.B&B the food was very nice and well varied and very good quick service with friendly staff. We had a sea front bedroom we would have liked a twin room but the double room was very comfortable, the bathroom was quite dated but we had plenty of hot water. As we were on the 4th floor we used the lift which only takes 4 people but didn't find we had to wait very long to use it. The evening entertainment was very enjoyable, We enjoyed our stay it is a nice hotel.

I was really disappointed to read your recent review. I'm sorry you felt the evening meals were 'hit and miss' - this is very surprising. We do have free wifi which is available on the ground floor only, perhaps you were trying to access this from your bedroom. We're sorry that you will not be returning but appreciate your honest feedback.
