I have just returned home after a very enjoyable holiday at this hotel. I was the organiser of a group of 44 and every one said that it was one of the best holiday they had been on,and would very much like to return.the staff were all very helpful and friendly, and even helped us to organise a tea dance. THANK YOU ALL.

It seems a pity to quibble but this could have been five stars. The hotel is superbly located with views over a busy seaway. The food was excellent but service was hit and miss. It was generally quick but to get the attention of a waiter when (often) things were missing was not easy and our waiter seemed surly (but he may just have been shy). Our room overlooking the spotless beach was good but the bathroom fittings had seen better days. The shower gel and shampoo sachets were apparently in short supply.

The hotel was clearly geared up for coach parties and a strict routine. Individuality was not met with enthusiasm.

On arrival, was greeted by some very polite and friendly staff who had arranged everything we had requested for our stay. Certain things we had needed due to our young son.

Was given a lovely double room overlooking the beach, with a cot as requested.

At the time of our visit, there was also some coach tours who were staying at the same hotel. As observed by myself, the staff organised all these new customers in a friendly and efficient way.

Evening meals were very nice, good selection of options. Again, the staff were very organised and friendly.
I would insist you try their full english, one of the best I have had for quite a few years.

As for previous reviews about hygiene, I find that very hard to believe. But, as for my own visit the hotel was clean and extremely tidy.

I will definately be returning in the near future.

Although I went with a large group of people, I had a single room and the single rooms are stuck out the back of the hotel. My particular room was small and had no outlook at all - in fact, it was so overlooked that the glass was frosted. The room was also near the kitchens and backs on to the local Chinese so you had the noise from the kitchens and the smell from the Chinese - not a good combination when its hot and you need the window open! The bed was clean and comfortable but overall the hotel could do with some updating. The food was OK and the staff were friendly and helpful, although I did ask to be moved to another room and was told that the hotel was full which was hard to believe. Also, one particular member of staff's clothes needed to be shown a washing machine which didn't give a good impression! On the whole, an average hotel depending upon what you are used to I guess.

great location, needs some new beds, food good, waiting staff excellent, worked hard! we were 34 elderly people, who on arrival discoved this hotel has been plagued with NOROVIRUS since february , many were very ill , one lady in a single room woke up in the bathroom after collasping, she had many bruises hiiting the washbasin on the way down! over half our group were ill , with VERY unpleasant symtoms. This hotel should be closed I cannot understand why the public health dept. has,nt done so it needs to be deep cleaned , our holiday has been spoilt by this experience, we had no apology from the hotel & more people took ill on the coach trip home so if you are booked to go to the trouville hotel think very hard.

I travelled with 33 members of a club of retired people who have enjoyed holidays together for over 20 years. This hotel was clean and welcoming. The food and service were good. Unfortunately, about half of us developed a nasty vomiting bug either during the holiday or immediately after returning home. This has never happened to us before. It would seem that this hotel does have an infection problem.
