This is a great family-run business, in a nutshell the room was -

* well-presented
* very clean
* neat
* peaceful

And overall the place is -

* near the town and beach
* friendly and well-hosted

Feel very lucky to have found it.

Stayed for four nights at the end of june with my boyfriend, and had a lovely and relaxing time! The family who run the b&b are so friendly and welcoming and make you feel relaxed and at ease, which I havent always felt at other places I have stayed. The rooms are exactly as pictured on the website, lovely comfortable bed, spotlessly clean and plenty of storage for my vast collection of shoes and clothes! The rooms are cleaned daily with freshly laundered towels each day. A complimentary bottle of water in the mini fridge is very welcome, as is the fresh milk, much better that uht cartons you find normally. The breakfast was lovely, all locally sourced food which tasted great, especially the bacon! Plenty of choices in the morning so you will never find yourself hungry! There is a lovely bar, run by Martin and Kim, who were great to chat to (and play pool with!) with reasonably priced drinks and a variety of bar snacks. The b&b as a whole was lovely and clean, despite the fact its still under refurbishment, although you would never have actually guessed! On the whole we had a brilliant time and I couldn't recommend Westfield enough, its refreshing to see a family so proud and enthusiastic about what they are doing and have acheived, and we will without a doubt be back to visit next year, and will be upgrading to a bigger room as they look gorgeous! Many thanks guys xx

Booked fairly last minute as won tickets to IOW festival and needed somewhere to stay as did not fancy the camping! This looked good and am so please we chose the Westfield. We were booked into Room 1 a standard double which was clean, comfortable bed and good storage (we booked in for 4 nights so able to unpack fully). Nice touches such as proper coffee, a fridge with complientary water and a fresh jug of milk each day. If I was to have any gripe at all it was that the door to the ensuite was sliding as opposed to a proper closing door. Spotlessly clean with a good shower and shower gel/shampoo and conditioner supplied in nifty squeeze units in the shower cubicle. The place is run by Barry and his family with his daughter and son-in-law taking care of the bar in the evenings he is your host for breakfast which is cooked by his wife. Breakfast each morning was fabulous and apparantly local produce is used where possible. We had the full English each day along with toast, great coffee, cereals and juice - saved eating v.expensive festival food! The place is still undergoing refurbishment and Barry kindly showed us some of the other rooms nearly completed. If coming again would upgrade to the Kingsize room -it looks lovely

Visit The Westfield Bed and Breakfast Isle of Wight . A long standing hotel. newly refurbished to a very high standard. Now run by a family who have added that little bit extra. An absolute achievement.

A family run B&B who have clearly observed and considered that B&B’s don’t have to be a journey back to the 70’s… they can have an up market appeal too!

The rooms exceeded all other B&B’s I have ever stayed in, by a very great margin.
They are an excellent standard and the overall finish and detail is very good indeed.

A definite recommend.
