Description: The Garlic Farm is all about garlic...We've been growing garlic on the Isle of Wight for over 30 years now and are the UK's largest specialist garlic grower. We are proud of our exceptional quality garlic which is renowned for its flavour, keeping quality and beauty. You only have to try our latest crop to see what we mean. We also travel the world to select the best possible garlic varieties to offer our customers. We sell our garlic through our farm shop, farmers' markets, our website and through specialist food retailers across the UK including farm shops and delicatessens. We welcome visitors to our farm shop and cafe on the Isle of Wight. Both have been constructed from Macrocarpa pine grown on the farm. All our garlic and farm-made products are also available on our website.

This was better than we expected, got garlic everything, really enjoyed it to be honest. There is a cafe and a shop, the cafe does garlic food and the shop sells lots of different garlic foods, you can try all the items before you buy in the taste test area.

Had a lovely day at the garlic farm cafe, soup and garlic bread was 1st class and then had the trio of cakes with a scoop of Minghella ice cream.. Superb! Staff were all lovely, also bought a few things in their well stocked shop. Very enjoyable day out, recommend!

The food is good as are the ingredients but it is still quite expensive considering the portion sizes. Not surprisingly the food is heavy on the garlic and if you're not a lover of it you might want to see if they can put less in. The menu also appears to be quite limited and I think they could do with expanding it a little. The service was good and considering how busy it was our order arrived quite quickly.

Having been a postal customer before now, I wanted to visit the farm it's self when the opportunity presented itself.

We didn't try the cafe, although it look very nice and was very full when we visited so I can't comment on the food.

We went to the tasting area which was great. They give a little shopping list so you can tick off your favorites and visit the shop. Nice idea.

Top tip, they put out crackers to try the condiments, if you are gluten intolerant like me, the staff will give you a small bowl and spoon so you join in the tasting.

The shop was nicely laid out and we walked away with loads of garlic based delights. I highly recommend the chili jam. We would certainly go again.

... shame about the cake! OK if you need a quick coffee on your visit to the Garlic Farm but the food is not great. Also, I found the overpowering smell of garlic everywhere quite off putting when eating. I know this is a Garlic Farm but you have to really love garlic to be able to tolerate this place for long.

Hello and thanks for your review. Glad you liked the coffee but oh dear, our cakes are usually great so I'm really sorry it seems yours wasn't up to our usual standard, what a shame. We have quite a lot of customers who come in specially for our cakes so obviously something was amiss. We will investigate. As for the smell of garlic, we tend to like it although appreciate it might not be to everyone's taste. Since we're garlic specialists, smelling of garlic is part of the scene here!
Best wishes,
The Garlic Farm Team
