“Stick to the putting courses”
Reviewed 23 August 2012

Browns provides 3 options, short & long putting as well as pitch and putt.

We played pitch and putt, the non golfers found it extremely difficult and the kids found it impossible as the grass was very long and unforgiving, even Tiger would have struggled to move the ball. Staff really should have warned us how difficult it would be for the kids.

The putting courses would be more appropriate for non golfers and would provide much more fun than the pitch and putt.

“Great ice cream”
Reviewed 20 August 2012

we love the ice cream and cakes, its a fairly basic setup, but lots of tables, chairs and even sofas for a comfy seat. Does get a bit warm inside during the summer

You have a choice of three course the blue flag one is quite tricky and the yellow flagged one is very difficult for amateurs.

The funand friendliness. The reasonable price and the dog friendly cafeteria. Sorry, no dislikes. Something for everyone, whatever your standard of golf.
