Description: We our a cosy little Pub/Restaurant that serves good wholesome traditional pub grub. Local produce is key to our cooking and use it where ever possible. We cater for all kinds of dietary requirements so just ask one of our friendly members of staff who will advise on our options. Although it says in our description 'Vegan options' we do not offer as many choices as the heading would lead you to believe. It is something I have tried to change but in vain. We do our best to cater for all so if you are Vegan please say when booking and we can discuss with you our options or create something for you if given enough time. We do love your furry four legged friends but when booking it is important to mention it to us so we can seat you accordingly. Unfortunately we are very small so our toilets do not have baby change facilities and it would also be tricky to get a wheelchair in them. Apart from the toilets we are great for wheelchair access with tarmac car pack and no steps to negotiate on entering if sat in our top restaurant. Jane, Richard, Becky and the team look forward to serving you soon.

We were staying in the area and looked online for a place to eat on a rainy saturday night. I saw the Yardbridge Inn online and gave them a call. The member of staff thet answered the phone was very helpful and said he would reserve us a table no problems. When we arrived the pub had a few local people enjoying a saturday night pint and we were shown to a table in the bar area. The barstaff showed us the menus and explained the specials board which all looked very nice. We settled on a rump steak and my partner had a mixed grill. We didnt wait too long for our food and when it arrived we were not dissapointed. I asked for my steak med/rare and it was perfect. my partner said his mixed grill was the best he had had! I had the cheesecake for dessert (which was recommended and was lovely!) We were made to feel very welcome at the yardbridge and the staff took time to talk to us and we would definatly recommend the Yardbridge.

Visited last week for a birthday celebration. The Yarbridge was busy with diners(impressive for a wet Monday night). My creamy Garlic mushroom starter was to die for. Beef in diane sauce came with a plentiful dish of vegetables. Others in our party had roast lamb, fish mornay and lamb shank.
The decoration at the Yarbridge Inn is coming together nicely, with the addition of watercolours of Island views- all of which are for sale. The log fire gives a homely feel.

After reading the reviews, we thought we would give The Yarbridge a try. From the outside it is apparent that there is some remodelling work going on; but once inside you are met with a homely atmosphere and friendly staff. We enjoyed a couple of pints of the local brew and decided to go the following night for a meal. It turned out to be probably the best meal of our stay so far. Lamb shank was recommended and duly ordered along with Mushroom Stroganoff for my good lady wife,(she dislikes Lamb). We were not disappointed. Perfect creamy mash, delicious gravy and perfect, melt in the mouth lamb. The wife even said the mushroom stroganoff was "very nice", high praise indeed. Lime and ginger cheese cake was ordered for pudding. Yet again a perfect score. All in all I would thoroughly recommend it for a pleasant night out.
They also know how to draw a pint of Guinness…so can't be a bad pub.

We were staying near by and were recommended to go here. We ate here on the Friday lunch time when we arrived and then went back again on the Friday evening for dinner. The service was very good and the bar staff were very friendly. The food was amazing and all four of us had a fantastic meal. We returned again on Sunday evening and once again the food was brilliant. Highly recommend for a friendly and most welcoming pub which serves brilliant food. Will be returning next year! Please keep the Chicken and Leek pudding on the menu is was superb!!!!

We were staying nearby and ate in the Yarbridge Inn on two nights. It had only just re-opened and has been re-furbished. The refurbishments are not quite finished (e.g. no curtains) but it was comforatble an clean. The two meals we had were great - we had a roast dinner one night and steak and chiucken on the next night. The food was great and really good value. We would recommend it to anyone who wants somewhere decent to have a meal in. The barstaff were really helpful and welcoming as well.
