We have just returned from a lovely break at the Sandown Manor. Debbie and Hubbie couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. Our two little dogs were welcomed as warmly as we were. They even had a welcome mat and bowl of water waiting in the room. The views are fantastic. Children staying at the hotel have lots to occupy them - the donkey and ducks were only slightly less popular than the trampolene! Debbie even encourages guests to use a sectrion of the dining room to order in take-aways. A fantastic saving for families when the cost of eating out is so great. We will certainly return.

This is a must for a B & B stay. Run by a very friendly family who made every effort to make my stay as welcoming & hospitalble as they could. Ideal for families with children who will enjoy the lovely pets corner & play area, with very close proximity to the beach. Lovely tradiitional breakfasts cooked by an excellent Chef. I have known the Isle of Wight for many years but feel that this B&B far exceeds the norm.

Excellent for people travelling on their own or with friends & family. Can't wait to book another visit.

Have just returned from a 48 hour stay at the Sandown Manor. Excellent location with great seaviews. Debbie and Alain could not have done any more to make our stay as stress- free and pleasant as possible. The rooms were spotless and the Bar area and TV lounge friendly comfortable and homely. Excellent facilities for the children included the pool, trampoline, table-tennis and bar football. Excellent and wide-range of choices for breakfast and all hot food cooked to order.
Other guests reported that they averaged about trips a year to the Sandown Manor which speaks volumes... and we too have vowed to return. Highly recommended. Debbie and Alain... you provided us with a stay for which 3 stars just seemed inadequate recognition for your efforts.. thank you

Room Tip: romms 4 to 7 on ground floor have sea views,

Family of 4 arrived early for a four night stay - no problem to check in early. Made to feel very welcome, great for the kids with toys, chinchillas, a shetland pony, donkey and some mad ducks(!). The room was clean and well heated, they even moved out one of the beds for a travel cot for our 18 month old. Good location, easy walking access to beach and also by road to other resorts. You'll have no issues if you stay here, especially with young kids. Oh, and the breakfasts were fantastic......

One very comfortable night's stay for my wife and me, and nothing too much trouble for the ever-helpful Debbie; train times print-out, taxi ordered, great breakfast, superb view. We'll do this again.
