The Burlington Hotel

Reviewed 22 April 2014

Spent Easter with my Mother on a coach trip and stayed at the Burlington Hotel in Sandown, after spending approximately 12 hours on a coach from Great Yarmouth (Bank Holiday traffic).
It was nice to be pleasantly surprised by the hotel as wasn't expecting a lot with the price we had paid £139.00 for 3 nights H/B. All the staff very nice and helpful (especially the lovely friendly Romanian Waitress), our room (No. 52) was nice and clean and the beds lovely, clean and so comfortable. The food was plentiful, a good variety on the menus and always hot. The location of the Hotel is also good for Sandown High Street, Seafront and there's a Bus Stop around corner from hotel if you need it. Can't comment on the nightly entertainment as went out every night.

We have just returned from a 4 night break at the Burlington Hotel in Sandown. We would definately stay there again. The staff were really nice and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had a good choice of meals, the rooms were clean and warm. Entertainment each night if you wanted it. All in all a very nice hotel.

We stayed at this hotel from March 7th -10th and found it most comfortable, warm and clean.
Meals were great and the staff most helpful.
The entertainment was appreciated as it was after all a break out of season.
We has lovely weather so were able to enjoy the sights of the Island.

Room Tip: The whole of the hotel seemed quiet to us.

I also stayed at this hotel from 7th/10th Feb 2014.
The rooms were clean, the food fabulous, staff very friendly. If I had one complaint it would be that the ladies and gents toilets are both in the same room off reception and there is a glazed door with clear view into it. I walked in there and disturbed a man who was in the ladies but I ran out before he saw me! Other than that, great place to stay. Although there are no lifts in the building so physically challenged folks beware.
