We arrived about 8pm, on route up North, but had phoned earlier in the day to confirm this was ok. The friendly staff pointed out the fresh water fill up points and directions to the hard standing pitches on arrival. We found the facilities very clean and tidy and staff very helpful even asking if we wanted papers or rolls in the morning. Site is on a very gentle slope and has a play area at the faraway end. Ideal base to explore the surrounding area.

Stayed for two nights over a cold March weekend to do some walking in the area. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially after we locked ourselves out of the caravan on Sunday morning! Toilets are very clean and plenty of access to fresh water and disposal points. Village of Alyth close by is nice with a cracking old fashioned ironmongers shop as well as a good butcher and bakery.

Highly recomended.

I was here in July 2012 for one night on the conclusions Cateran trail way. I slept in my own tent. I made a reservation 14 days in advance via email. Although the site is close to the road, he seemed calm - ready for a restful sleep and relaxation. The environment is clean and tidy, facilities fully available, toilets and showers are clean. Just a few meters from the entrance to the camp is a pub with a TV and a good beer. Overall, I would recommend.
