This is a great B&B with lovely rooms and welcoming hosts. The breakfasts were fab and provided so much choice. I only wish I could have stayed longer to try more on the menu! I especially liked having a pot of tea in my room at the end of the day.

Very warm welcome from the hosts, fab rooms all at great value. Good central location within Kingussie but on a quiet street. With a great bonus of lovely home cooking, if interested evening meals available.

We were made very welcome by having a roaring log fire lit in the lovely guest lounge. We had an evening meal cooked for us which was really good to have a home cooked meal with vegetables.
Our request for an early breakfast was no problem and our host even scraped the snow of our car for us.
Rooms spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Hot water bottles hanging in bathroom were appreciated as I had got cold through during our journey.
Definitely always stay here when in the area.

Room Tip: All rooms lovely and single occupancy was not a problem when we booked.

At the Hermitage guest house we received a very warm welcome, Andrew and Pauline were wonderful hosts. Luxurious room, big bath, stunning views, and fantastic food. Good collection of books, CD's and a roaring fire... we would have loved to stay longer! Thanks for making it a special stay.

We stayed for 4 nights in January hoping to ski in Scotland. We arrived in the evening to a roaring log fire and a lovely home cooked meal . Breakfast was excellent, Andrew & Pauline were very welcoming. Easy access to the Cairngorms for skiing, an excellent place to stay for winter activities. Would definately go back.

It has been 2 years to the month of our original stay at the B&B, and we finally had a chance to get back there for a few days.
We were not disappointed, and our memory of it being a great place to stay was confirmed by Andrew & Pauline's wonderful hospitality.
Our room was lovely & comfortable, with little extras like hot water bottles & an extra blanket already awaiting us; and our feather-free bedding requirements were easily managed. The breakfasts were delicious, and our fussy choices & dietary requirements were happily catered for. The guest lounge was cosy with its roaring log fire & wifi (for downloading more kindle books!)
Andrew is not only a very welcoming host, but he has an extraordinary memory - proving he really does care about his guests - remembering details from our last stay that were really touching.
Off-road parking is available right by the door which is brilliant, especially if you have lots of luggage! There is a train line nearby, but it didn't disturb us at all.
A thoroughly enjoyable trip, and we will of course stay there again (hopefully sooner between visits this time)!

Room Tip: We stayed in the first floor premium king room again, which has windows on two sides overlooking the...
