We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Harbour Lights, and from the moment we walked in the door and greeted by Nick we had a good feeling about the place, and needless to say we were not disappointed, we had room 8 on the third floor with amazing views of the harbour and sea, the room was spacious and spotless - the owners Ruth and Steve were very hospitable and nothing was too much trouble - we ate there on our third night and the food was delicious. - the location was brilliant and we would not hesitate in staying there again,. a very relaxing and comfortable break.

We had a 2 night bed and breakfast get away. The room we had on the top floor had fantastic views, was clean and spacious. There were a few downsides to be half expected with a hotel of this nature. Single glazed sash windows that rattled in the wind. Thin walls and floors that moved when the people in the next room moved about, and no lift. But as we knew what we were expecting with an old style property it did not bother us. Breakfast was good and staff were very friendly.

Stayed 5 nights bed & breakfast, loved it, room was really lovely with a great view, breakfast was superb & kept us going until tea time, we dined in the evening here twice & food was delicious, especially the pan fried chicken which my husband loved. The owners were very welcoming & helpful, would certainly stay again & hopefully very soon.

Walked into nice restaurant and was nicely greeted by the owner althought the normal English summer (rain) it warm and comfortable.
The was twin and big enough for two people. Would have liked a seaview but this is an old town. Food in the restaurant was v good and it was a good price.

My husband, son and I seem to be making it a habit to stay at Harbour Lights before doing other things during the October half term. We are all very fond of Ilfracombe and when we bagged a bargain at a nearby caravan site, decided to precede that with another visit to Harbour Lights. I am not sure what we would do if we found it to be booked!!

We were shown to our room by Nick, who was very welcoming and helpful. We have always stayed in room 5 - a single and double room with ensuite which is ideal for our group. Everything very clean, warm and welcoming. We have yet to have dinner in the restaurant but hope to put that right (which will mean another visit, of course!!), but breakfast is always freshly cooked to order, with ample choice. Our son loves the homemade banana smoothie!

We were a bit let down by the weather this time but had a nice stroll around the harbour etc, although the crazy golf will have to wait for another day.

We had another lovely stay and would hope to be back again!
