I spent a week in this hotel and the staff could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was good and the hotel was situated a pleasant walk from the harbour. Dog friendly too. I would visit again, and bring my husband next time.

My parents and I visited the Carlton brasserie for a Sunday roast as part of my birthday celebration. The staff were attentive, polite and friendly. The food was excellent, the portions were perfect with flavoursome additional trimmings with our roasts. The desserts were very impressive and there was a great range of choice on the menu. We will certainly be coming back again.

Reception staff and night manager were very helpful. Our room was clean but very small. The shower was fine but there was no comfortable seating. The beds were comfortable and we both slept well. The breakfast was ok, my partner ordered eggs and ham but only got 1 egg as opposed to eggs as stated on the menu.

We had a large family gathering for my Mums 80th birthday here. The staff and owners are extremely helpful and polite, also the food was amazing. We all had a great time and will go again for another family occasion.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at the hotel and first class experience. Room was spotlessly clean, staff and owner very friendly and hot breakfast freshly cooked with a good choice of drinks, cereals, fruit and pastries also. Location perfect for walking to the tunnel beaches, town centre and harbour. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Excellent value for money, clean and comfortable. Stayed in single room everything that one would need.
Friendly staff with good local knowledge.
Well positioned for harbour and seafront both within short walk.
Highly recommend for visit.
