We went as a group of 7. 2 grandmothers, 2 mums and 3 children under 5. Pinetree lodge was immaculately clean, well equipped and spacious. The children had plenty of freedom and being in such close proximity of the farm animals was great. First thing in the morning they went out to see the pigs and Muffin the Shetland pony. From our veranda we had a fabulous view of the countryside with the sea in the distance - stunning! Tony and Kathy (the owners) made us extremely welcome and chatted whenever we saw them. Being able to buy the farm's own beef and pork products and homemade food made life a lot easier for us. The whole place had a warm and relaxed air about it - I will certainly be booking to go back.
