When one has to host foreign visitors, a complex and challenging menu can present a problem in translation and expectation. This is not the case at "The Quay" as the menu, largely speaking, is very simple.
Service wise, we were well looked after and the food was served fresh and accurately. The ingredients used are superlative, and compliment the view across the Bristol Channel from the upstairs dining room.
There were 10 of us and the meal came to £450, so expect £50 per head.
As I asked at the beginning, dear reader, would I go again? The answer is yes, to impress. For my private dining, though I might hesitate a bit (as I like a slightly more adventurous menu)
