After such good reviews, we were looking forward to staying and we were not disappointed. My husband had e mailed Nicky that it was for my birthday and on our arrival in our room was a card and a bottle of wine. What a lovely gesture. Our room was a premier double on the first floor overlooking the lovely garden. Excellent facilities. Lots of double sockets, never enough in some places. Well stocked tea tray. The bathroom good size with a very user friendly shower. Nicky very helpful and informative over walks we could do and restaurants. Breakfast certainly plentiful and well cooked. As previous reviewers have stated, a longish walk to the centre and back up a hill. It is approx 1 mile each way. We enjoyed walk back at night after dinner. Dont forget to take a walk in the garden and meet the chickens and goats. Definately would recommend and stay again if we come back to Ilfracombe.

Superb guest house, service worthy of top rated hotels. Wonderful views overlooking Ilfracombe. Spotlessly clean and very welcoming. Very comfortable beds. I travelled with my brother and his partner their room was perfect for them too, he has reduced mobilty.
We arrived very late, communication around late acces to rooms was very clear. Breakfast was excellent, we stayed two nights so we're lucky enough to try two options from the menu. The grounds are beautiful , it was like being on luxury retreat. Looking forward to going back.

Just came back from stating here. We can honestly say it was one of the nicest B&B experiences we've ever had. The couple who own it were really welcoming, as was the lovely lady who served breakfast Room was spotless, (view over looking Ilfracombe) and tastefully decorated, dog loved it too! Lovely rambling gardens to explore with some lovely animals. Reasonable price too! To the owners, if you didn't already know it, you've got it spot on, as Arnie said, well be back.

we had one of the best room i think, had the dog maisy with us and we loved it all. More like a nice hotel, had bar and swimming pool although april a little cold for that. About 15 minutes walk to town centre and ideal spot to visit all of north devon. loved it thank you.

Lovely setting and beautiful room. The guesthouse is a little out of town but easily walkable. The room was really well appointed and spotlessly clean, the breakfast was great and the owners were really friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.
