Stayed at Epchris house for one night as part of our whistle stop tour around Devon trying to convince my boyfriend to move to UK. We were impressed with Epchris from start to finish! Such a warm welcome, the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever stayed in, bathroom lovely and modern. As if that wasn't good enough the next day came breakfast, I was full all day, such a huge range of choice. Thank you so much for your hospitality, I would definitely stay here again!

Stopped off here on our way North after a holiday in Cornwall with Dolly the Dog. Can't fault this place, warm welcome on arrival, very professional set up, lovely modern room within this magnificent Victorian Villa in the Torrs park area of Ilfracombe. Plenty of parking on site, huge gardens & great wooded areas up the road for dog walking. Breakfast excellent. Would certainly come back here again - great value too

Room tip: All rooms appear good ( we were in Room 8 which is three floors up so if you are not good on stairs you need to say so on booking !)

Absolutely loved our stay here. Staff were really friendly and always happy to help with anything we needed. The bedroom was lovely, really clean and much bigger than we expected! The breakfasts were always top notch, even came with vegan options for my friend. Plenty of options for the main as well as fresh fruit, cereal and yogurts with tea, coffee and juices. The grounds were lovely and we were delighted to bump into both chickens and goats as we explored the place. Only took us about 15 minutes to walk to the harbour for food and there's a lidl about 5 minutes away so it's in a brilliant location. Over all we were really delighted with our whole stay and would definitely come back again!

Epchris House is exactly as the other reviews describe. Fantastic.
Nicky and her family run an extremely well organised machine, their attention to detail is fab and they obviously care about what they do. The Epchris added to a fantastic weekend away.
Gluten free breakfast. Tick. Nothing is too much trouble for the team.
The hotel is very clean and the honesty bar is a great idea - if used correctly of course.
Thank you Nicky and Co.

Room tip: We upgraded so no idea what the basic rooms are like

Fabulous stay for our first wedding anniversary - lovely large and very nice room with gorgeous en-suite (we were room 7). Bed king size and very comfortable. Everything spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly, cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty and very efficient and friendly service. There was a lounge
and honest bar that we didn't use but looked great.

We had keys that allowed us back into the house and to our room with ease after dinner and drinks in the town (would recommend Giovanni & Luca's Italian)

Location very good as only a 15 min walk to the town centre and parking easy on site.

Would recommend and would definitely stay here again if returning to north Devon.
