Dined in 71 on Saturday night, the specials and the carte menu gave our family a great choice of starters and mains, (vegetarian, avid meat eater, fish fanatic and a youthful palette). Food freshly prepared with perfect timing between courses. Certainly the best yet in Ilfracombe. Will be returning.

Dined there 2 weeks ago and was very impressed. Great menu and food was freshly prepared making service a little slow, but well worth the wait. Every course ( of 3 ) was superb and something different to the usual. Will make it my first stop next time, no doubt about it.

Enjoyed a great 3 course meal here last week, it's worth booking as it has a limited number of tables but that give a great intimate atmosphere! Loads of restaurants on Fore Street but this is definitely worth putting on your list, it does not disappoint.

Service excellent, food fresh and good value, fair selection of wine and all good value. The pate is as smooth as silk, served with a great chutney and toast for starters, main - monkfish on lobster risotto to die for, fish beautifully fresh and well cooked.

You know its all fresh and freshly cooked when people are walking in without reservations later in the evening and certain dishes are no longer available as they have 'run out' - thats a plus point not a negative in my book!
