Bus Stop Cafe
Description: Amazed it's not in here already. Only been open for 40 years! 'Greasy spoon' type 'caf' with extra full english at £4 including tea, and daily roast at £4.30. Certainly not pretentious, but probably the best value for economical travellers. Always a good sign .... count the taxis parked outside!

I pop in this place because was raining and my bus for Barnstaple was due in 40 minutes and I was looking for a decent place to have a breakfast as well.
I had a full English breakfast that was really good and prepared with fresh ingredients.
The staff was friendly and the price very good for what I had.

its a cheap cafe, looks like a workmans cafe, everything fried, it gets busy on the odd occaision so be prepared for a long wait, meals can be alittle greasey but tastey, meals are cheap so dont be surprised on the quality, just dont expect to much and you wont be dissapointed

have eaten at this small cafe opposite the ilfracombe bus station many times as i used to live just around the corner, that harbour brunch is my personal fave, lots of choice and a great cup of tea too, the price is very good and the service ok too.

Good fun, friendly banter, good value, decent portions and just the thing to start you off for the day or fill a whole if you missed breakfast -worth a try if you fancy a no frills traditional cafe.
