“friendly place to visit and yummy afternoon tea!”
Reviewed 17 September 2013

We recently visited the mill - very interesting and great to see restoration of the mill. The owners are really friendly, the visit is actually made all the more special by the afternoon tea. We were so tempted - we almost bought a slice and piece of everything... cake was delicious, all fresh and tempting. Well worth a visit if you are close by.

“Best Tea Room in Devon”
Reviewed 9 September 2013

I dropped into the tea room twice and on both occasions I received a warm friendly reception. The cake and cream teas are fantastic and it is worth taking a holiday in Devon just to visit the mill and tea room. The wonderful scones were freshly out of the oven and the cake was the best I have ever tasted. While I was there several people complimented the owners so it's not just me that thinks this is an exceptional tea room. There is also the wonderful old mill to visit and a really interesting tour you can take before tea. Defiantly one to visit if your in the area.

Was told the cream teas were the best in the area and was not disappointed. Scones were to die for and service and setting are superb.

“Staff were super friendly, cakes were great and a very interesting mill. Thanks”
Reviewed 31 August 2013

We were given an unexpected tour for no extra than the entrance fee. One of our three year old and our six year old boys were asking questions all the time and were really interested in the old mill. We were surprised and the tour guide was thrilled.

Cakes were very good, some baked with flour from the mill! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our whole family wanted to stay there and go back!

The nail puzzle is a real beast....ha
