“A real hidden gem”

Lovely location, we wouldn't have found it without reading the other reviews so we are glad we did. The tearoom was lovely and the ladies in the tearoom were very helpful and friendly We had the traditional cream tea, but the other cakes on offer looked delicious too. It was very nice to have a large teapot and mugs. We arrived at 11am which was opening time, there were only 2 other tables occupied at the time as we were quite early in the day. We will definitely be back for more next time we are in the area, thank you.

Fantastic scones pretty setting very friendly staff, my son enjoyed the mill. Although it was raining and we had a dog we still had the gazebo to sit in while we ate our scones.

“So glad we popped by!”

Lovely little tearoom situated next to an old mill (they use the flour from there in their cakes!) delicious savoury or sweet cream teas, also pasties & delicious homemade cakes! The tearoom was cosy & the owners & the lady that worked there were so friendly,we could of spent hours in there we felt so welcome. They had a wonderfully simple puzzle they gave us until my partner gave up & we had to be showed how to do it, brilliant! & we were told stories & just felt so welcome.. Will definitely visit again

“wonderful welcome & cream tea”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

We were recommended the cream tea here by our B&B hosts. We were not disappointed - we were greeted by the smell of cakes baking - delicious. Had a very warm welcome. Thoroughly enjoyed a browse in the gift shop.

The cream tea was delicious . There is a great range of home made cakes and herbal teas on offer.
