Description: The Pier is a Brewery Tap and Grill serving great real ale from The Wizard Brewing Company and a wide selection of locally sourced gourmet burgers, steaks and seafood, as well as daily specials. Our family friendly pub is situated right on the harbour in Ilfracombe, and boasts a large seafront beer garden with spectacular views of the ocean and North Devon coastline. We're ideal for a romantic dinner for two but luckily can also cater for big groups, functions and this year have even done a wedding reception

My favourite place in Ilfracombe to sit and watch the sunset, good range of drinks to meet all tastes but would recommend the ciders. Newly decorated it is clean and tidy inside hopefully cozy in winter. Food looks good but at the higher price range. They have live music some sunday's which is a fun way to finish the weekend. - Would recommend to locals and tourists.

We had visited this place in its former guise as a grubby pub and were amazed at the transformation. A real feeling of space and light, with some interesting artwork on the walls. We thought the food was rather pricey(ham, egg & chips £11) until it turned up but it was generous, well-presented and delicious, with home-made real chips, so we felt it was worth the money. The Wizard Brewery's beer was also much appreciated. Plenty of space for families or couples, and a nice little garden too. We didn't realise until we'd finished that there's also apparently an upper terrace bar with a sea view, as opposed to the harbour view which we'd had. Be warned, though, the "ladies'" is labelled as "witches" ...

Wonderful atmosphere, it has been renovated amazingly. The food is delicious and it is all local, you can literally see where the fish comes from. The owner was friendly, and aimed to make our meal as great as possible. It has a few rough edges that need smoothing out but this will easily come with time as it has only been open a few weeks. Getting printed menus would be a great first step! Loved it here. Would highly recommend it.

we visited this pub while there on holiday last week, and what a difference from when we were down in October, the place had had a much needed face lift .It is now bright and airy, with really good food, quick service too, hubby informs me the beer is very tasty also !!!!! the staff were friendly, and very helpful with the wheelchair. We actually managed to get onto the poop deck,to watch some firework one evening, and the view is just superb, the only down side is NO DISABLED TOILET,but it is not really a problem as there is one right next door to the pub at the harbourmasters office.Would certainly recommend a visit to this pub,you wont be dissappointed

This is a refurbished pub and is run by a Micro Brewery- Wizard. Its okay chaps if you dont drink Lager. I do and I cant quite put a name to it. A bit disappointed really but for Real Ale drinkers its fine.
