Took my Mum (88yrs old) on this coastline cruise. The attention that she received from the original booking to the disembarking was terrific. She has a mobility problem but these guys were fantastic and so patient. They brought her and her walker down the steps and got her seated comfortably and throughout the whole time we were on board kept checking that she was feeling okay. The commentary was excellent and the scenery beautiful. Like another reader we were unable to do the wildlife cruise because of the winds but nevertheless the one we went on was very informative. Top marks to the crew and we will be back for the wildlife cruise another time. Thank you.

We went on the one hour trip up to Combe Martin and back on a very hot but windy day (they weren't doing the longer trips because of the wind).
Excellent modern, clean vessel with friendly crew and interesting commentary, thank you.
And there were no 'hints' or other pressure to 'tip' the crew at the end of the voyage. We'll go with them again when next in Ilfracombe.

Yes wildlife is not always on tap but it was for us all seals on the rocks , and judging by the 25 foot waves we had this winter , and a sad loss of pups we saw 2 and 5 adults lovely well looked after by all 2nd trip on this boat last one was just as good 5 star go see for yourself , perfect !

Such friendly staff from the first contact. Helpful when getting on and off the boat. Cruise was explained where we were going and information kept been given. The crew helped us look for wildlife and gave us the history of the places we were visiting. Absolutely wonderful. So good we did an hour and a half cruise up the exmoor coast followed by a two hour cruise down the Woolacombe coast.

Have made two visits to the Ilfracombe Princess while holidaying in the area.

There are two cruises available. We initially went on the seal cruise up to Woolacombe Bay (2 hours). It was a hot afternoon so a chance to enjoy the sea breeze was especially appreciated. But it really was a great afternoon! Fantastic scenery. A really well-informed commentary - but a commentator / captain who also knew when to keep silent and allow the scenery to speak for itself. It was so good - it was the obvious place to bring relatives when they came a few days later when we did the Exmoor cruise instead. The difference in the scenery made it well worth doing the two - even in a short space of time.

Just one thing to remember - having particularly appreciated the commentary on the first cruise, we strained to hear it when we were in the aft of the ship on the second cruise. It's well worth listening to so make sure you get a seat somewhere near a speaker!

Are already telling relatives about the trips and look forward to bringing them in the future!
