She's big and beautiful and looks phenomenal against the backdrop of the Bristol Channel and Hillsborough. Damien Hirst has truly honoured the town with his wonderful loan. She may not be everyone's cup of tea, but that's art for you! People have travelled from far and (very) wide to come and visit her so she is definitely the main attraction in Ilfracombe!

This statue is totally out of place and does not belong on Ilfracombe harbour. The artist gets his point across re unborn child's right.

would like to say a visit to ilfracombe is not the same if you don't go and see verity it is a must the art work on her is brilliant the artist is good and a visit to the art gallery.as it has more of his works.

I think she's amazing - I didn't know she was there but thought she was a clever statue and made Ilfracombe harbour more interesting than ever before!
