So sorry I've left it this late to put my review up. We stayed in 2016 for my 50th birthday. Family of 4 two adults and 2 kids. It was superb. Easy to book, a bottle of bubbly when we arrived, and everything clean and tidy. The kids loved it the location is great. We like to mix it up so Weatherspoon’s up the road was terrific for the kids as they love the food there and it's one of the best Weatherspoon’s around complete with roof terrace. Then you have the Damien Hirst restaurant for more sophistication. We were so disappointed we couldn't book again for this Christmas but I'm not surprised it was taken by early 2017. Will defo be booking again 10 out of 10 :-)
Couldn't fault our apartment or the amenities close by. Harbourside walks, good restaurants and a booklet full of leaflets with ideas of where to go and what to do. Visited the beaches and headed over to Exmoor national park. Made use of the Wetherspoons close by and it's brilliant rooftop terrace. Apartment was clean, well equipped and modern with lovely views of the sea to the front and the town to the back. All faultless.
First time booked through TripAdvisor and can say the process was extremely smooth and hassle free all the way. This was mainly due to the contact made from the owners of the apartment with all details being thorough. Apartment was to a high standard. Fair to say "Home from Home". Very well equipped. Central location for fantastic family walks along the sea fronts and a short walk to the harbour with its many restaurants. Relaxing stay.
A very well maintained property in a central location with perfect opportunities for exploring the north Devon coast.
Leticia is a very helpful owner who answered our questions before booking very promptly. We were met with the keys as agreed and were very impressed with the apartment. It was clean well decorated and has everything you could want including WiFi ps4 and sky channels all included which impressed our teenage daughter!
The beaches at woolacombe and croyde are great for surfing and within easy reach Lynton and lynmouth and valley of the rocks are very picturesque too. Plus there is plenty to do in ilfracombe with beaches coastal walks and many cafes and restaurants.
Thanks for letting us stay in your apartment we are already looking at dates for returning next year!
10 Cove View is a lovely apartment with everything we wanted and the sea view from the living room balcony is a great bonus. We arrived to find tea, coffee and a nice bottle of white wine in the fridge which was an unexpected pleasure. If we came on holiday to Ilfracombe again we would book here without any doubts. We would highly recommend 10 Cove View, certainly made our holiday more enjoyable.
Great location, lovely flat and the welcome bottle of wine was a great touch but for us a few issues. We weren't able to have the windows open as the smell of chip fat from the Weatherspoons at the bottom of the road was unpleasant. I'm a bit sensitive to smells but none of us enjoyed it. Also with the bedrooms being underneath the lounge and the floor being extremely creaky as soon as the first person got up, we were all awake. It really was loud if anyone walked on it. Only worked if we all went to bed and got up at the same time. I love to cook but found a few key essentials like a juicer, grater and covered casserole dish missing. All of which I wanted to use. A few little things were broken like the bedside light bulb, the kettle switch kept falling off, and the main bathroom cistern kept running water unless you jiggled it. All easily fixed though. I would recommend but only if I'd made people aware of these issues. Of course for some people they wouldn't be issues at all lol!
We arrived on Friday afternoon John was waiting on the doorstep with the key, we were amazed when we stepped inside the photos do not do this apartment any justice. It is a 100% better, the management are so nice and could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable, the owner is so friendly and accommodating we are due dack September and would recommend to friends and family.
