“Lovely quiet family campsite”
Reviewed 4 August 2013

Just spent 3 nights camping here, £20 a night. Plenty of space in the camping field. Lovely quiet site with clean shower block, ideal for our first go at camping with our 2 year old! Pretty fishing lake in the centre of the site. Berrynarbour village is only 5 mins walk and has a lovely old village pub called the Globe, family friendly. Ilfracombe and Combe Martin just a few minutes drive away. Woolacombe a 15 min drive. Nearby Combe Martin Dinosaur and Wildlife Park a good value day out for little ones.

We stayed two nights in our campervan with ehu on 19th-21st july and payed an amazing £23 in total, this included a discount of £2 per night as we are both over 50,even under 50s only paid £13.50 per pitch. There are very tall trees all around so try and get a pitch in the central area which gives you sunshine nearly all day. There's a shop which stocks the basics and can be a little bit pricey, also a fishing lake with decent sized carp that we could see swimming near the top at about 6pm.The pitches are large and well spaced out, ours was no.3 by the entrance.Very clean toilet and shower block. In the evening we used the bar, which was very smart and the prices are very reasonable. The young barmaid is very pleasant and gave us lots of info on the local area and she's getting married next year.On saturday we had a scenic walk into coombe martin through the village of berrynarbor plus bus back. The buses run every hour no.301 from outside the royal marine pub in the harbour. We enjoyed the whole weekend so much that a return visit is planned for 2nd august.

Been at Mill Park many times. Is more sheltered in bad weather than some of the nearby sites. Have no complaints. Site is always neat and tidy, and staff/owner very helpful and friendly. If you have a car problem like we did, they know a mobile mechanic Mike. A lovely fella, and very trustworthy. Nearby village of Berrynarbor is idyllic. Often get ducks coming round at breakfast. You feed them and they go to sleep outside your tent.

Had 2 caravans for our family visit. Site was sheltered compared with the gales blowing outside and had a nice hardstanding near the dog walk, as we had brought the hounds along. Toilet/shower block was very clean and tidy, shop was stocked for the essentials, but shame the bar was only opened at the weekends when we were there, as served a good pint when it was open and resonably priced.
Only comment would be to get better directions on the site map for waste water drains and recycling ares around the site, but we found them by exploring.
Overall a nice pleasant site and we shall return there later this year, because we liked it so much.

We booked in the morning before we left down there, We were given a choice of where we want, we did say near the water on the bottom field.
When we got here, we weren't by the water sadly, so I went to be moved and the man was more than hapy for us to move, we went and moved to 26 pitch right by the waterfall, to be fair to the man he said he didn't want to put us there due to the noise, Ok it looked good but yes it was loud! He was right!! Nothing parking the car in front of he tent didn't solve :-)

The site is kept very clean and tidy the grass was cut even though it didn't really need it!

The toilets were big and spacious sadly a bit muddy the cleaners can't do anything about that.

We went for a drink in the bar watching the footie, it was a nice atmosphere in there, and well priced, dogs are welcome inside to which is good.

I would def come here agina 5 min drive from town.
