“Park Hotel Tenby”
Reviewed 26 September 2013

Great views
Steep Hill not for the faint hearted, however taxi only cost £3
Excellent food good value for money good size portions and we are both good eaters well worth trying the Saturday evening meal £20 or book online for £18.
Good sized rooms we stayed in room 310 overlooking a wood and Tenby Town
Entertainment on Saturday evening we sang along to ost songs but I would'nt say it was suitable for most under 45's.
Drinks at the Park were cheaper than the pubs and clubs in Tenby Town.
Staff really enjoyed working at the hotel they were eagerto assist and always had a smile and a chat with guests.
Would go back especially in the summer as they have a good size pool and excellent areas to sunbath on supplied sunbeds in the large gardens.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 310 not a sea view but a lovely view of Tenby Town the hotel is situated on top of...

Have just come back from our first visit to this hotel, what can I say?. Room good with sea view, food very tasty & staff could not be more helpful & friendly. This has got to be one of Tenbys jewels. Should I return to Tenby I wont even look at any other hotel. thanks for a lovely stay..

Room Tip: Pay a little bit extra for a superior room well worth it

This is an old fashioned seaside hotel - the decor is dated but immaculate. Our room was fine other than being beige. There is wifi in the public areas only - I was asked to sign a disclaimer before I was given the code! Parking spaces are at a premium, but at least it is free.

The entire hotel smells of school dinners - not a good thing. Breakfast was fine and the service was attentive if a little in your face.

Room Tip: Ask for a full seaview

The hotel is in a great position, for exploring tenby. The gardens of the hotel were and cliff terrace was great for relaxing and taking in the view.
We stayed two nights and at the time of booking we could only get a family room £150 a night expensive if for room 110 as there is no view from this room window full of condensation, if you try and poke your head out of window you can see the swimming pool.
Breakfast was ok but I would have preferred a self service for the first half of breakfast we wasn't served any juices although we were asked but staff were so rushed in serving cereals and tea coffee and fried breakfast we must have been forgotten, this was also off putting have half a dozen staff rushing around you when you are trying to have breakfast, also 8.30 is late to start breakfast.
So if you stay at this hotel you are paying a bit extra for the view.
Also husband didn't sleep very well and woke up with bad back because of bed was so hard.

Room Tip: If you want a sea view ask for it 110 is too small for a family room

A last minute weekend with 2 friends to Tenby.... What did we expect... Well in sort we loved it so much we stayed a 3rd night...

Great location, beautifully decorated too, lush bed and an even better view. The staff, especially the funny ones on reception were so helpful, and had a sense of humour!!

We spent the day at the pool which was fab, nice lunch and even better wine ; )

110% we would come back here!!! Just for the breakfast...

Room Tip: Book room 3 it's lush

Very pleasantly surprised having read some of the reviews. Reception staff are not particularly friendly, but hey your not away with them! We had room 304 superior room with superb views over Tenby harbour. The hotel was full, but nobody in the bar at night? Breakfast was ok, not as good as the Langdon B&B where I stayed the week before. We had a great night sleep and will definitely return.

Room Tip: Room 304 nice large room.
