We had a lovely stay in Tenby. Not having been before, we fell in love with the place but not with the hotel. Our room was great (102) with one of the best if not the best sea views of Tenby. Clean and tidy and lots of space. Comfy double bed. Where it looses points is the faux Regency style. Way too many stripey wallpaper and billowing pelmets. Alix Pollizi would have had a hissy fit. If choosing again, I would go for a more economical B&B in the town. There is a walk down to the beach but you have to be steady on your pins. It is a bit steep but worth the effort. Take a a stick!
We met some nice people who we chatted with on the terrace. There was some agreement that the breakfast tray was uninspiring. What no biscuits! There ought to be biscuits! Breakfast was OK but the sausage was a cheap catering type, hash brown from the freezer, kipper was boil in the bag variety. All in all we had a great time but this had nothing to do with the hotel. Last comment....way over priced.More
