The owners were lovely, helpful and friendly , but they gave you space and privacy as well.

clean rooms and a lovely shared front room to relax in . I felt very relaxed and comfy.

a very short walk from the south beach and town and north beach as well.
Even though every hotel was booked and all rooms filled this area is lovely and quiet.
The breakfast was great and you got plenty of choice at no extra cost, it filled me up for the day and didn't need to eat until evening.

The area is clean and friendly and I would recommend anyone to visit.
We will be booking The Strathmore again and hopefully soon.

We stayed at the Strathmore over the Easter period (2014) we had room 7 and, our 2 daughters had room 4. Both rooms were adequate although very small. Both had a shower, toilet and sink in the room. Beds were hard, so not a very comfy nights sleep (but in saying that, I don't sleep well anywhere I stay because I need a soft mattress). The owners/staff were very nice and nothing was any trouble. We used the lounge area on Saturday night which has an amazingly large TV, there is also a cabinet with glasses and bottle openers for the guests to use, which was nice. Breakfast was exeptional, we had toast, cereals, fresh juice, hot tea and coffee, and to top the lot, a beautifully cooked breakfast made with lovely quality ingredients. There is a very large car park at the rear of the B&B and it only cost us £8 to park from Friday to Sunday which is a bargain. All in all, its a great place to stay, very close to the beaches and town centre ....
The only thing I would have a little niggle about was the lack of the use of a duster!! Our room was very dusty on the dado rails and the skirtings .....

Everything you would need from a B&B . Good food breakfast is a treat , nice staff and Jo who is a top bloke . Parking can be an issue , but there's a large car park just around the corner . Definitely stay there again .

What a surprise, comfortable bed, lovely and clean, fantastic breakfast.
The couple that own it obviously have great pride in their business.

Thank you, would definitely stay here again!
Very homely put professional feel.

Room Tip: the shower/basin was separate to the toilet, would of been nice if they were all together. so perha...
