We visited Tenby three years ago and came upon this restaurant by chance. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
So upon our return to Tenby this Easter, we booked for the Friday night. We were not disappointed - everything was very good - the ambience, the staff, the food, the drink. We had moules and scallops to start (ate far too much bread with the sumptuous moules juices!) followed by Marlin steak (fantastic) and Monkfish (delicious). No room for puds!
After looking around at the other restaurants for Saturday night, none appealed. In fact, many seemed to have gone downhill since our last visit. So we decided to push the boat out and re-visit the Plantagenet. We had been very tempted after seeing the lobster on the Friday arriving at another table. We had moules (not so much bread this time!) and grilled mackerel followed by two lobster thermidors. The lobster was glorious and well worth the wait of 22 years since we had had it previously!!!
Neither was a cheap meal, but we enjoyed what we had and look forward to future visits.
