“Once again perfect”

Second visit this year and again fantastic food. Crab was tasty and fresh and the quayside chorizo frittata delightful. Perfect for our little getaway.

“Unspoilt backwater”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 September 2013

We travel to wonderful Pembrokeshire twice a year, April and September and three years back found this really delightful cafe, right at the end of a long dead end road at the waters edge half way up the estuary. Since finding this splendid eatery we make a deliberate point of travelling from St Davids not once, but twice a holiday, to this very quiet unspoilt backwater to partake of the sumptuous and plentiful locally sourced menu. The quality of food over the years has been exact and of a high and nutritious standard. The staff have always been courteous helpful and informative and nothing has been any trouble.
It is a big round trip from St Davids just for lunch, but oh what a lunch it is and you will be talking about and recommending to visitors for years to come. It can be a bit of a squeeze inside on a rainy day but there has to be 20 plus tables outside when the weather is more convenient.
If Tenby has been described as the jewel in the crown of Wales then this award winning Lawrenny Quayside cafe 'at roads end' has to be the diamond.
I am now looking forward to visiting a second unit opening soon at West Angle bay to see if the service, food, value and atmosphere remain unaltered. See you in the Spring.

“Quality food and very nice tea room”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 September 2013

Had lunch here and enjoyed it very much, staff friendly, food good quality, I felt that the crab sandwich which came with a small pea salad and 5 Dorito type crisps on my plate was not good value at £8.75.

However I would go back and recommend this tea room.

“Lovely Little Place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 September 2013 via mobile

Been here a number of times and it has always been really nice, the food is good and so is the service. Kinda expensive but they are very nice, just wish the portions were a bit bigger. Very good but so a 4 out of 5 from me.

“Delightful place overlooking the estuary”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 September 2013

What could be better on a sunny day, sitting outside overlooking the estuary eating a freshly made crab sandwich, home made coleslaw, cous cous salad & home made salad dressing, yum yum, washed down with a cheeky wine, sometimes they do a glass of champagne or for other tastes local beer or cider. This little place prides itself on using local produce, plenty of choices on the menu and a child's menu too. A delicious selection of home cakes if you are not looking the pounds. Lawrence is a little out of the way and there is only one route, however it s a pretty drive through the country side and the Quayside is well worth the visit. Don't miss out if you are in the area.
