Was recommended too us too visit on our 3 day stay in Tenby. Little gem this place. Wonderful staff, happy and friendly, especially the young gentleman who I believe was the supervisor which my husband kept talking too. Food was well presented, didn’t wait long. Would definitely recommend x

What a way to finish a excellent day out at the seaside! We had a, huge, fish pie and a seafood linguini and both were delicious. We're going home tomorrow but, when we come back to Tenby, we'll definitely be back. Beautiful meal.

My husband went on a trip to Tenby with about 20 men, most were pensioners. However, a group of five entered the Hope and Anchor and ordered some drinks and sat outside. Later three others came in, but sat inside. Followed by two more. The bar staff served them drinks, but when she realised that they all knew each other, they were told once they finished their drinks they all had to leave. Apparently, the policy was not to have more than five in a group. Did they expect the pensioners would start duelling with their walking sticks? Be advised, if you see friends in there when you visit it is best to ignore them if you want a second drink.

Clearly a very popular place in Tenby. Every time we went past if was buzzing as it was on the occasion we chose to go there for early evening family meal. Very informal place - no airs and graces - good menu choice - and service was fairly quick, considering how busy the place was, and no major complaints about the food. Our party (7) were mainly satisfied .. one meal could have been a bit warmer but apart from that all was well. Lots of nosy children - but so was ours ! Not the place maybe for that special occasion meal but fair family value..
