Regular use for week end breaks to the delightful sea side town of Tenby over the last five years.

Tenby its self is a jewel, with the Fourcroft providing a quiet base which is somewhat aged but still provides the solid requirements for a base to enjoy the Pembrokeshire geography.

On the expensive side but limited competition and has no bespoke car park which in season can be a bit of a pain finding a car space local to this beach facing hotel. Restaurant used only on a breakfast basis given the excellent local alternatives, but staff here do need to sharpen up the service.

Very clean, good rooms with accepted limited other services but for the type of use we as a family & friends use it for, an excellent choice and stunning location over looking the marina and smaller beach/bay.

Sea view room well worth the premium.

Room Tip: Sea view bedroom is very worthwhile.

I suggest you all ignore the previous idiotic review! This hotel is a lovely family run hotel in an enviable position overlooking the stunning North Beach. All of the staff go out of their way to make your stay happy and relaxed. When you return you are treated like an old friend:). Yes some of the rooms have quirky characteristics but that only adds to is charm. You will go a long way to find somewhere that makes you feel so 'at home'. If you want corporate Tenby is not the place for you! Go with the flow, accept the old buildings- it doesn't,t mean that service is compromised and always treat people as you would wish to be treated yourself. You will go a long way to beat Fourcroft and the Fourcrofters who work there. Rant over;)

Room Tip: Rooms 2,26,22 for view, 36 for a large family

So I enter room and almost fall over as it runs down hill to window and bed. Bed to be fair looked clean and sheets ok. Door on toilet same as floor falls away with a five inch gap on side at bottom. Rusty old tatty radiator in room but Toilet flush is the best, you get the bin fill with water and pour into toilet for it to work as the toilet does not flush. Taps in sink wobbly and windows rattle all night with the wind as does the bedroom door and wardrobe. Restaurant well I asked for soup and roll told no more rolls as all finished and none cooked! Who has soup with no rolls? Eventually did get some which was ok. Main meal was cold meats and salad (better than other choices on menu) but really poor quality. Breakfast early start so was a continental and the waitress came over telling us off for having the marmalade jug on table as was for everyone in restaurant. There was only our two tables at breakfast! Premier inn opening soon about 400 yards down the road and if this hotel doesn't update and change it will have real problems competing. Absolutely have to say the worst hotel I have every stayed in. If it wasn't for the fact I had to drive colleagues the next day I would have immediately vacated. If I could give zero rating I would.

Dear People at Trip Advisor, I ask you to remove this review.
This gentleman was playing lead spokesperson for a group of 20 guests booked in by a travel agency (not online), all of whom worked for a national retailer and appeared to be jostling with each other to show how effective each was.
This gentleman threatened our staff by saying all 20 would provide Trip Advisor with nasty reviews unless they were given everything they requested; this included extra food for their fixed price meal, special drinks brought to them, cooked breakfast at an earlier time than we serve it and, throughout, were dismissive and bullying. When they were asked if there was anything wrong by the manager, they were apparently happy with everything. As soon as the manager had left the room, they returned to their unpleasant ways.
We have already complained to the travel agents and request that this review is dealt with the appropriate response by your company and is taken offline: we are not prepared to be 'blackmailed' by the threat of someone submitting a bad review.

Wanted a hotel in Tenby with a sea view and we weren't disappointed, the sea and harbour view was amazing. Paid more than we usually do but everywhere else was booked up but not impressed with the room as the carpet hadn't been vacuumed, the window would not open and couldn't watch the TV as there was no signal. Luckily we were able to watch TV on line as the wi-fi was excellent. Being a bit picky here but if I pay top prices I expect more. There was a night porter on duty and we had a nightcap (or two) in the hotel bar where we stayed until the early hours. Good nights sleep (aided by copious amounts of whiskey) and I had a lovely breakfast, however my wife could not eat hers as it was a bit dry and oily mushrooms. We booked the room on line and expected to be able to park in the hotel car park but apparently this has to be booked as well but hadn't realized this so keep an eye open for that when booking. Overall a nice stay but a bit overpriced for what you get.

Room Tip: Don,t forget to book a car park space!

We're sorry your carpet had not been vacuumed (not sure why that had happened), but with that, the TV signal and the window being stuck, we could so easily have made reparation if only you had informed us at the time. There is nothing we can do about such things once you have left the premises and, of course, nothing we can do when you submit your review.

We have staff on the premises 24 hours a day, all ready to deal with any guest requests or hiccups that occasionally happen with a Listed (Grade II) Georgian building. But we are unable to deal with no communication.

Been here with work a few times with work and its a lovely dozy hotel with kind friendly staff - the lady who is the main receptionist is really nice ... I think she might be eastern European has a really quirky hybrid welsh/Europe accent and nothing it too much trouble for her to sort out.

For the price you pay ... bargain in my opinion and the views over tenby via the beautiful Victorian sash windows are priceless

ok its not the most modern hotel but its charming and quirky and has a really nice feel about the place. My room was spotless and really big and very well equipped.

I had to set of early to leave (5am) and the hotel wouldn't see me leave without tea and toast and the night porter, again a really nice chatty fella, made me tea and toast and I was made to feel really valued.

Got to say some places in wales I have been to I have suffered borderline racist behaviour but tenby is a beautiful friendly town and the fourcroft is no exception.

Yes the fourcroft isn't the savoy but for what you pay ........ its a bloody bargain!!!

Room Tip: a sea view is a MUST !!!
