My wife and I visited Heatherton twice this last week with our three grown sons, daughter-in-law and two little granddaughters, 8 and 4.
We all found something to do, be it paint ball fighting and go karts for the boys and decent attractions and thrills for the girls. Lazer shotguns, boats and other things for me - my eldest granddauther took great delight in trying to get me wet.
Excellent time, plenty to do, free if you did nothing and food outlets and shelter all over the place - we were lucky - it was dry.
Tip is to buy 'credits' at a discounted price rather than pay per ride - we bought 30 for £54 making many attractions only £1.80 each against sometimes a cash charge of over £3, greater discounts were available
