“Nice Day Out With Family”
Reviewed 30 May 2014

My wife and I visited Heatherton twice this last week with our three grown sons, daughter-in-law and two little granddaughters, 8 and 4.
We all found something to do, be it paint ball fighting and go karts for the boys and decent attractions and thrills for the girls. Lazer shotguns, boats and other things for me - my eldest granddauther took great delight in trying to get me wet.
Excellent time, plenty to do, free if you did nothing and food outlets and shelter all over the place - we were lucky - it was dry.
Tip is to buy 'credits' at a discounted price rather than pay per ride - we bought 30 for £54 making many attractions only £1.80 each against sometimes a cash charge of over £3, greater discounts were available
Thoroughly recommended.

“A great tree top adventure”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

Our party of 8 thoroughly enjoyed the tree top challenge. Whilst at first might seem expensive the staff gave us a free upgrade to the extreme experience due to party size. The whole experience lasted over 3 hours making it good value for money (if a big scary in places)

“Excellent! Great day out!”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

We visited Heatherton on 3rd May. Considering it was a Saturday it was so quiet all morning. A lady in the shop said its because its changeover day for most people on holiday, so if your going to go choose a Saturday morning! We didnt have to queue for anything, in fact we were the only ones doing activites for really up until dinnertime. We paid for a group pass which cost £54 for 30 credits. We went with our children aged 15, 12, 6 and 2 and they had a go at almost everything so I thought that was a very reasonable price.
The staff were very friendly and great with the kids. My two eldest got to try the zipwire for 2 credits as a special offer between 12 and 2pm, they loved it. There wasnt much for our two year old but she was happy enough with the climbing inflatable slide, and she went on the barrel train all by herself all around the field. Most of the activities are suitable for age 6 and over, so be aware of this if you have younger kids. They may get upset if their older siblings can try things and they cant. The new 4x4 mini landrover course is good, my 6 year old thought it was great going through puddles and over obstacles. They also loved the go-karts, they have kids ones and (extremely fast)adult ones. I really enjoyed watching my children walk on water, trying archery, pistol shooting, baseball, getting a driving licence (from a mini road track with traffic lights), sliding on a giant zipwire, they absolutely loved every minute of it.
We ate in the restaurant which was nice, be aware you get big portions which we wasted so maybe sharing is a good idea.
Dont miss this place if you have chance to visit, very different and lots of fun!

“nice hot chocolate :)”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

Though we weren't here for long, some of the attractions seemed overpriced and some were closed. I can only comment on the crazy golf which was a barrel of laughs. We used the café facilities, the hot chocolate was delicious and a reasonable price and the toilet facilities were clean. If we were to go again we'd come earlier on in the day and make the most out of it, but I wouldn't use all the activities as some seemed overpriced for what they were.
