Just arrived back from five wonderful days at manorbier, the place not so much the park. We did have a very good time although there are a few negs first of all we had a gold caravan number. 99 (gold) which was right by club house swimming pool etc, although it was quite clean bed linen was left but no beds made up cooker did not work properly not many cups cooking equipment etc. There was no dryer to hang out the window for wet clothes and the van was so close was very noisy late at night. Swimming pool had no life guard and there where a lot of older kids from owner caravans to rowdy and rough and spoiling it for every one else and it wasn't that clean anyway both my children where ill after going in think they need to check it more often as there were a hell a lot of people using it at any one time.Entertainment was good each night with kids dancing between happy hour 6.30 to 7.30 cheaper drinks followed by quiz which was spoiled by people who go a lot knowing all the answers and winning all the time bingo was fun with good cash prizes although thought that it was a bit much that jo and matt the entertainers where the main act twice out of our week singing on separate nights who were both just ok nice park over all but much nicer places to stay in such a lovely place.

Stayed here with my boyfriend in a caravan (gold) the weekend just gone as an early birthday surprise, and was quite let down for the amount we payed for 3 nights, on the phone we were told that we would have patio, outisde table and chairs and a hairdryer in the room and a bbq, but first of all we had no tv remote until the second night, also when we checked in we had to pay £10 desposit with cash as they dont accept card and I had no cash on me as they did not state there was a deposit to pay over the phone or on their website so I was financially embarrased, we were the only caravan among all the others by us without a patio, outside table and chairs or bbq, the rest had them even the caravan next to us, it states it had a heated jacuzzi however when we got in it was freezing cold and the water was dirty and scummy. After the bar closed at 11, we decided to get some food and the man working on the burger van on site, tried to con us by not giving us enough change when we gave him a twenty pound note and we luckily noticed and told him, and then he gave us our change without apologising, In the rooms they looked clean to start with but I pulled the curtain back to see and old dead squished moth on the curtains from whoever was the before so it hadnt been cleaned, and there was brown stains on the netting and mould on the windowsill and the grill on the cooker didnt work very well so we had to fry everything at the reception the staff were rude and unhelpful, the only time we noticed really friendly and welcoming staff as it says in reviews on here, was when we were buying drinks from the bar. Wont be coming back, on a positive note the entertainment is very good for families with young children/toddlers

Hi

I have just returned from a 4 day sun holiday and I must say that I was very impressed with the camp. Upon arrival we were welcomed by very pleasant staff who explained everything to us. The caravan was in excellent condition and we could not fault it any where it was clean and dry On the first night about 10 pm the hot water went. I went to reception and the friendly staff sent out a maintenance man who fixed the problem (batteries dead) within 20 minutes. Overall it made our stay excellent. I cannot comment on the spa/swimming pool/ restaurant or bar since we did not use the facilities (due to weather)

Booked Manorbier Country Park via sun holidays when we arrived was greeted by the reception staff and given our caravan and key fob for the gated entry system. Opened up the caravan which was in very good order and quite large. After doing our shopping went to the club house for drinks, then decided to eat but unfortunately the two meals of a limited menu were unavailable. so we ate in the van. Happy hour between 6.30 and 7.30 but alas NO entertainment, but that didn't spoil our break. Spoke to one of the staff who said the site is 75% owners and the place is alive at weekends but not so much during the week. The reason for the 'very good' is for the site cleanliness and the tranquil setting.

Room Tip: I wouldn't upgrade as all the caravans are in good order
