We struggled to find seats for a drink on a sunny lunch, but based on look, location and helpful staff, went back for dinner on a rainy mid-week night.

Interior quality and feel very upmarket. Price maybe a little lower than nicer places in town, but food quality ad presentation really good. Lamb and seafood pizza exceptional really.

Whilst service was pleasant, a little (training?) out on details. We waited 60s to be greeted, dirty knife ( quickly replaced), dishes served by passing over other diners, dessert menus stuck together etc. I didn't detract at all from a really pleasant atmosphere and evening out.

Would recommend even with a long walk down the hill in the rain. Try this place away from the peak summer moments,

South Beach Bar Grill is top of my list. Despite being exceptionally busy this weekend the staff were very polite and accommodating to our needs.
We hadn't booked but the lady on the door (Kate) kindly found us a table quickly, we didnt feel obliged to be rushed with our food.
It was lovely to know we could have brought our dog - next time we shall bring our dog and sit on the terrace.

We went on a lovely sunny day. Absolutely wonderful beachfront location.

Food was good and service was friendly but a little slow. If you're not in a hurry and don't minding waiting for food then, great.

Surprisingly, it's a seafood restaurant that doesn't serve seafood during the day! Very disappointed with that. However, I had Welsh Rarebit and Lamb Cawl (stew). Great comfort food. My daughter had Coq a Vin which was fresh and tasty.

Location Great
Food Good
Service: Average but maybe a bit stretched

Recommended for a nice beachside meal on a slow day.

Lunch time meal in a fabulous location. Great service, good food and lovely surroundings. Did not like seeing dogs however being led THROUGH restaurant to outside area - surely this could be avoided!
