Description: Here at The Mooring, we have a passion for lip-smacking, going-back-for-seconds, seasonal food. We make the most of the fish & fare on our Pembrokeshire doorstep. And we don’t pay through the nose for produce that’s not in abundance, which means our customers don't have to either. We’re natural born feeders. We perfect classic dishes and source tasty combinations, all seasonal and all freshly made

“The Best Resturant in Tenby”
Reviewed 27 July 2013

Beautifully cooked food, fantastic menu, innovative without being silly and the quality of the ingredients is the best we found on a weeks stay in the area. Possibly the loveliest staff of any restaurant in the area too and coming from a city we couldn't quite believe the value for money either we were expecting a bill at least 50% more at the end of the night!

“Good food, pleasant surroundings”
Reviewed 26 July 2013

Visited based on number 1 ranking on trip advisor in Tenby. Food very good, not too pricey, service efficient but perhaps not the friendliest.

“Best cappuccino ever”
Reviewed 23 July 2013

Having walk from Saundersfoot to Tenby, came across the Mooring restaurant / café, the restaurant it's self is well laid out, and the staff were very friendly and polite, as we both are cappuccino lovers, and have had many from around the world I have to say this was the best by far I have ever had.
We tried to book a table for the evening but unfortunately they were fully booked.
Would highly recommend.

“Left the best til last”
Reviewed 22 July 2013

Our family of 6 enjoyed our last night in Tenby here. We had to book as every night seemed full and glad we did as so many were turned away. The food was scrummy and typical prices for a top notch restaurant. Starters-£4-main-£10/15-Desert-£4. One of the impressive things was that children can have a smaller portion of most things on the menu. Friendly, competent staff and nice modern setting.

“yummy but a little pricey”
Reviewed 20 July 2013

A lovely modern café on several levels, with a loo down several flights of stairs. It was oddly quiet, but that might be as there is such stiff competition and some very cheap cafes nearby.

The food was delightful - I had a pear and stilton salad, which was very fresh and tasty, and my husband had a chunky sandwich with local cheese and home made tomato chutney. We were so hot we had cold drinks, but the coffee certainly smelt good and everything here seemed pretty high quality.

There were some hot meals available, and even something simple like ham and chips (which another person who ate there told us about) was superb, real ham with light crispy chips and garden peas. However, it was £7.25, and there were other places doing it just as well for half the price.

I'd still recommend the mooring however as it has really high quality standards and is quieter and cooler than some more frequented cafes.
