Booked a last minute 2 night stay. Service was fab, from reception to the bar staff. Our room was huge, as was the double bed. We didn't eat in the hotel but the smells from the dining room were mouthwatering. There was free entertainment available every evening, usually a singer. Although there were a lot of retired people there and the entertainment was geared towards them, we still enjoyed the cabaret and joined in with the singalong. Will definitely be going back to the Clarence on our next break away

Just spent a week at the Clarence House Hotel, very warm reception and extremely efficient, our full coach was in and up to their rooms in no time. Cheryl was our waitress, she was very cheerful and nothing was too much trouble for her. Every meal was really good, something for everyone. The person who really made our stay memorable was Hubert, what a character! He took us to Auntie Vi's and kept us informed all the way on the passing scenery. He also joined us for our end of holiday party. I have googled him since our return and learnt some more about him. Our room was a bit cramped and I had trouble with the shower but Penny soon put me right. We couldn't have asked for a better time, everyone went out of their way to be helpful. Hope to stay here again.

Just home from a week's bowls tour at the Clarence House - brilliant welcome and excellent service. Nothing too much trouble with all the staff bending over backwards to please. The staff worked as a team and seem to really enjoy serving us. Food good, nicely presented and waiting staff really efficient and friendly. Entertainment each night was good and bar staff were great.
......and then of course there's Hubert! He's an institution. He came out on our coach with us one day and took us to Auntie Vi's tearoom - oh! that sponge - to die for! A truly unforgettable afternoon and a super weeks stay. Brilliant place - wonderful views - I'm sure we will return!

Stayed in the Clatrnce Hotel in Tenby with a group of 5 couples. We all had rroms on the 3rd floor with a seaview and it was fine. Nice big beds and a fab view. Shower room was a bit small and not much water pressure but it was hot.
The windows really do need replacing as they let in all the draughts - especially the one on the corner where 1 couple was staying. They had to block the window with towels!
Only a few minutes walk to the beach and the town centre.

The staff are very good and the breakfast very nice, did not try the evening meal. Altogether a very enjoyable weekend

Thank you for your review. I am happy to say that we are currently changing every showerhead in the hotel to maximize the pressure of the showers. With regards to the windows, I am sorry to say that the hotel is a Grade 11 listed building and we HAVE to have sash windows, which is a problem when we have a very strong wind like we did when your group was staying with us.

Our coach party arrived for a 5 day stay on 7th April. We were greeted by the lovely hotel manager Penny and it was obvious from our arrival to our departure that this was a hotel intent on ensuring that all it's guests had a lovely holiday. All of the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Their slogan should be " we aim to please" and that they most certainly did. Accommodation was good and a choice of menu ensured that all meals were most enjoyable.
A great stay, good hotel, fantastic sea front position. I am convinced that many of the group would not hesitate to return to the Clarence.

Room Tip: ask for a sea front room....the view is fabulous. nt
