We stayed in the Tenby hotel for 3 nights in a premier double room (110 Pounds !) which was actually next door of the hotel. The hotel room is a suite with an ample and exclusively furbished living room (leather settee and chairs, flat screen TV, coffee table etc.), a cosy bed room with a four-poster bed and a luxurious bath room with a but tub with jets.
The room is in the ground floor of the house next door of the hotel and it has a direct sea view, the bed room is facing to the back yard. Since there are private flats in the same house, there was occasionally some noise from the neighbours but it was usually quiet after 10 pm. There was no WiFi in the hotel room (as it is located outside of the hotel), however free WiFi is available in the hotel lobby.
The manager of the hotel was very friendly, the service is excellent and the waitresses always served breakfast with a smile on their face and were looking after the guests with great care. Breakfast was rich and excellent quality.
The hotel does not have car park for guests, but guests can park the car in one of the side roads around the hotel for free.
There was a spectacular view from our room onto the sea. The town centre is 3 minutes walk away from the hotel.
We will definitely return to the Esplanade hotel! Excellent value for money and the friendliness and customer-orientation of the staff makes this place special.

We stayed one night in this hotel. We arrived early and reception offered to take our cases until we could check in about half an hour later. Reception were very friendly.
The room was well set out but a bit dated. The shower room was cramped but clean. The only real issue was the shower was barely a dribble.
The room looked clean, however my husband found several items, including a rubber glove just next to the bed.
There was a very varied breakfast menu. The food was hot and of the finest ingredients, unfortunately, mine came swimming in a pool of grease so was a bit offputting, had the meats etc been grilled it would have been perfect.
On the whole, we would recommend this one. The niggles were few and overall, offered good value for money in a very pretty little town.

We stayed for one night for a family event the next day. On booking the telephone manner of the person we spoke to was not great. However we arrived and found we had been upgraded to a better room at no extra cost. Very clean, decor a bit dated but great views and the breakfast was excellent very good quality and morning staff could not have been more helpful. Would definitely go back.

It has a great location, next to the beach and the city centre. They serve one of the best English breakfasts I have had. We were in a triple room on the second floor. It was quite spacious for 2 adults, 1 toddler and 2 dogs. While very clean, it could use a refurbishment to update the interior.

Just got home after 3 nights at the Esplanade and had to share! Hadn't booked just turned up & sorted with a room in minutes..nice room at that, Singles can be rubbish but as I sat down in my surprisingly large room on my double bed & checked out the seaview I was very happy with my choice! Breakfast was fab..buffet selection and cooked menu aswell (recommend the poached eggs!) Location was ideal for me, 5 mins to Upper Park St where I could get buses around West Wales (direct to Pembroke Castle & Haverfordwest etc) also a large supermarket & Tourist Info there, 5 mins to the town centre literally the other side of the town wall and if you cross the road and trip you'll land on the wonderful South beach! Friendly and laid back staff were helpful..all good will return x
